António Rodrigues.
I studied Painting in Porto, Portugal. I live and work in Gent Belgium. In my artistic journey I found other disciplines that took me along paths of expression. In my work, we can establish visual links with realistic images, without leaving an abstraction.
Main theme of inspiration for me is the Nature in its different aspects and states…Ecological characters, social and political aspects are also an inspiration. For Antonio the work as a visual artist is the result of a consequent evolution dictated by the creative action and the intuitive character of external factors of daily analysis.
During my artistic journey. I found other disciplines on my way and thus expanded my possibilities of expression.

1997 – He made works for the town hall of Fajões (Portugal) in various techniques such
as watercolor, charcoal.
1998 – Working in watercolor and charcoal for the Order of the Vicentine in Portugal.
1999 – He made the illustrations and the cover for a cultural magazine (O Cajado).
2000 – He works for private collections.
2001 – He works in the department and Restoration Collection in the S.M.A.K.
2014 – He works for private collections.
2021 – He made four oil panels for a Belgian state organization (RIZIV)
